CAPPMA to Lead Delegation at SENA in Boston

The China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Alliance (CAPPMA) will lead a delegation of about 150 people from more than 50 seafood companies at Seafood Expo North American (SENA) in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, from March 15 to 17.

CAPPMA is China’s leading seafood trade association and has been providing information for the industry and government, advocating for exporters and encouraging responsible fishing and aquaculture practices for almost two decades. CAPPMA also organizes Chinese companies to exhibit at international seafood trade shows to capitalize on opportunities to showcase their products.

At SENA, the CAPPMA delegation will be led by Executive Vice President Dr. He Cui and Secretary General Mr. Gang Di, with around 30 companies that offer shrimp, tilapia, golden pompano and catfish products from a BAP-certified facility.

GAA signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CAPPMA in June 2014. The two organizations and their members are working collaboratively to advance responsible aquaculture through the BAP third-party certification program in China and globally through the exchange of information and participation in each other’s conferences and forums.
