GAA’s GOAL Conference Returns To China

GAA's GOAL 2016 conference will be held in Guangzhou, China.Global Aquaculture Alliance’s GOAL 2016 conference will be held in Guangzhou, China.

It’s the first time in eight years that the conference has been held in China; GOAL 2008 was held in Qingdao, China.

The announcement came on Oct. 29, the final day of GOAL 2015 at the Four Seasons in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which was attended by more than 430 aquaculture and seafood professionals from around the world.

The four-day conference, which featured about 30 presentations and 75 speakers, was a quite a success. Keynoting GOAL 2015 was Cermaq CEO Jon Hindar, High Liner Foods Chairman Henry Demone, chef and author Barton Seaver, and Ned Bell, executive chef of YEW Restaurant + Bar/Four Seasons Vancouver.
