Seafood Nutrition Partnership Names GAA’s Dr. Steve Hart to its Board

Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) Vice President Dr. Steve Hart has joined the board of directors for Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP).

Seafood Nutrition Partnership Names GAA’s Dr. Steve Hart to its BoardFounded in 2013, SNP is a non-profit organization with a mission of inspiring a healthier America through partnerships and outreach to raise awareness about the essential nutritional benefits of eating seafood. SNP continues to support aquaculture as a key source of responsibly produced seafood.

“I’m extremely honored to join the SNP board of directors as the non-profit mission of Seafood Nutrition Partnership is near and dear to my heart,” said Hart. “I look forward to working with the board and staff on moving the important SNP mission forward.”

Hart, who joined GAA in June 2015, is leading GAA’s market development efforts in Asia as well as working on various emerging issues affecting aquaculture and its stakeholders. Previously, he was executive director for the Soy Aquaculture Alliance and director of aquaculture at the Indiana Soybean Alliance.
